Introduced in 1929, at least three versions of the Adams and Morton lighters were produced. Based on advertising, the "Adams" and "Morton" model names seem to have been used interchangeably and all three versions were produced concurrently. Two versions use a push-in style semi-automatic mechanism button with similar but different hinged covers. The third version has very similar mechanics altered to use a press-down button and angular mechanism cover. All examples pictured here are unbranded or marked "Morton". (EB)
