Ronson Tank strikers

return to striker index

Ronson produced at least two figural table striker variations based on the World War 1-era British Mark 1 tank. The earlier model is branded "L.V.A. C.1919" on the lower front end of the tank, the later model is branded "Ronson" on the lower rear end. The L.V.A. tank features a teardrop-style striker wand with matching bronze finish, the Ronson tank uses a contrasting brass inverted cone wand shape. Besides their branding, wands and color, there are also several subtle design differences in the casting used for each tank. Most notably, the L.V.A. tank has straight gun barrels and the Ronson tank barrels are shorter and have a conical shape. (EB)
