Evans Lighters produced under license from Ronson
These full automatic Evans lighters were produced under license from Ronson as part of the settlement agreement after Ronson successfully sued Evans for patent infringement. Simply marketed as "Evans Lighters" during this era, these lighter are very similar mechanically to their Spitfire predecessor. Their mechanisms use flush fulcum pins and the flint screws are marked "U.S. PAT RE.19023" (Ronson's reissue patent number). Evans Lighters were produced for approximately seven years, from June 1945 until June 1952. (EB)
