The first eight photos show Quercia's headquarters in Paris at 176 rue Saint Martin. These offices were located at 4, 6, 8 passage de la Réunion in Paris. When this neighborhood was redeveloped in 1974, the street and all the buildings pictured in the first photo disappeared. The original prints are undated but these pictures were likely taken in the early 1940s. The first photo which shows the buildings' facade appears in 1941 Quercia advertising. Marcel Quercia is shown in the third and fourth photos.

The original Lyon photographs are dated 1944 and embossed “Florentin - Lyon” by their photographer. They were likely taken on August 3 at the Quercia showroom and offices at 52 Avenue Maréchal de Saxe, one month before Lyon was liberated from German occupation on September 3, 1944. (SR & EB)
