Though described as automatic in advertising, the Pollak Cigar Lighter uses a relatively simple, semi-automatic sparking mechanism. All of the examples shown of this model are unbranded, the name is derived from advertising. Versions of the Pollak Cigar Lighter were produced with and without a safety lock for the snuffer release button.
