Produced during the early 1950s, Golden Glow Liters are typically unbranded. The Golden Glow name only appears on original packaging, typically these lighters are just marked "Made in U.S.A" on their base. Golden Glow Liters are a design variation of the Girey sold by The Vernon Company, a specialty advertising company based in Newton, Iowa. Almost identically constructed, the Golden Glow snuffer arm features a riveted cap not present on Girey lift arms. Golden Glow Liters feature a metallic gold painted finish normally emblazoned with advertising. (EB)
